Caritas India, a member of the second
largest humanitarian organisation in the world, takes on the challenge of
Global Warming and Climate Change through its Lenten Campaign 2008.
This year’s campaign intends to spread awareness on reducing the impact of
Human-induced Climate Change, throughout the country, through its 160-strong
church based and more than 100 NGO partner-organisations. Climate Change is the
most pressing concern before the entire humanity today. We all can make small
differences, through our small efforts by spreading awareness, practicing all
that is required to arrest increasing global warming and donating generously
towards spreading awareness on this noble cause.
All your contributions and donations would be utilised towards creating
eco-consciousness among masses and combating the ill-effects of Climate Change.
All donations are exempted from Income Tax under section 80
(G)
