Following the Holy Mass, the State Level Lenten Campaign was officially inaugurated by Archbishop Andrews Thazhath, CBCI President, and Archbishop of Thrissur. The unveiling of the Lenten Campaign poster marked the commencement of this meaningful journey. Archbishop Andrews delivered a profound message, urging all present to embody the spirit of togetherness and shared responsibility. He emphasized building bridges of understanding and extending hands in solidarity to uplift and embrace every member of the global family.
A heartwarming moment unfolded when the Children’s Ministry of Dolours Basilica made the first contribution to the Lenten Campaign, setting a positive tone for contributions to follow. Archbishop Andrews inaugurated the signature campaign, “Fraternity in Humanity; Together with Everyone,” encouraging active participation and symbolizing solidarity with the Lenten campaign’s vision.
