At Caritas India, we prioritize creating a conducive environment for all individuals to work and live with dignity. Our safeguarding role is rooted in the principle of humanity and is vital for protecting children and vulnerable adults from harm, abuse, and exploitation.

Safeguarding Under One Umbrella

Caritas India integrates various safeguarding policies, including POSH and CPP, under a comprehensive safeguarding framework. This unified approach ensures that all safeguarding measures are consistent, coordinated, and effective. This commitment extends to our employees, affiliates, community members, program participants, children, and vulnerable adults.

We have established a robust safeguarding framework, supported by internal committees focused on safeguarding, POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment), and child protection.
