Caritas India brought all its employee to the serene climate of Dharamshala for a perfect introspection and internalization process of learning under the Annual Staff Training. It was a perfect time to look closely at the various systems and processes across all functional areas of Caritas India with the aim of familiarizing it’s the practices and to internalize the organizational processes for a much-improved system of functioning.
“It’s good to get the reality check that everybody in the organisation has the same understanding of the strategic plan because we need to move in the same direction”, said Fr. Paul Moonjely, Executive Director of Caritas India. He asked different employees to share their understanding of different key strategic pillars.
To bring the better clarity of the Caritas India Key Strategic Pillars, all the employees were divided under four pillars to exhibit their understanding of Empowerment Animation, Dialogue, Volunteering and Sharing Communities. The groups brainstormed and presented skits based on the insights, understanding, processes, and involvement of the strategic pillars.
Amrish Gupta, Chartered Accountant representing Kumar Mittal & Co. took the session on Financial Aspects in Program Management. He shared about the Statutory Compliances and Admin related aspects to strengthen CI Processes & Systems. He explained various aspects related to FCRA, budgeting, procurement, etc.
Standard Operative Procedures related to Communications and Humanitarian Aid & Disaster Response were shared with the employees to bring more professionalism in the work.
