• Program Management: Ability to design, implement, monitor, and evaluate safeguarding programs to ensure their effectiveness and alignment with organizational goals. • Risk Assessment & Mitigation: Ability to identify safeguarding risks and implement strategies to mitigate potential harm to vulnerable individuals and communities. • Training & Capacity Building: Proven ability to design and deliver training programs to build the capacity of staff and stakeholders in safeguarding practices. • Stakeholder Engagement: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders, including diocesan leadership, partners, and relevant authorities, on safeguarding matters. • Monitoring & Evaluation: Strong skills in monitoring, reporting, and evaluating safeguarding programs, with the ability to assess outcomes and identify areas for improvement. • Cultural Sensitivity: Understanding of cultural contexts and the ability to implement safeguarding practices that are culturally appropriate and sensitive to local realities. • Ethical Standards: Commitment to upholding the highest ethical standards, ensuring transparency, accountability, and integrity in all safeguarding practices.
