Job Description

Key Accountabilities 

 Research and Analysis:

• Conduct research on prospective donors, including international agencies and UN agencies, embassies, public sector undertaking, academia, foundations, corporations, government agencies, and individuals
• Prepare and update the donor profiles with funding priorities of donors relevant to the Caritas India’s focus areas.
• Identify the individual donors/benefactors and reach them with short project/activity report, photographs, acknowledgement letters
• Study the priorities /needs of the different states based on the Niti Aayog’s aspirational district priority, and other relevant parameters and prepare scoping profile.

Proposal Development:

• Assist in drafting, reviewing, and editing funding proposals, concept notes, and grant applications.
• Prepare project summaries, and other required documentation for funding opportunities.

Donor Engagement Support:

• Support the development of donor communication materials, such as presentations, and impact stories.
• Prepare appealing emails in line with characteristics of the respective donors
• Search the online platforms and identify the lead for networking and donor contact

Event Coordination:

• Support planning and coordination of fundraising events, webinars, and donor meetings.
• Assist in developing promotional materials and presentations for events.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Ensure proper documentation of fundraising efforts, proposals submitted, and donor communications.
• Prepare minutes of the important resource mobilization strategic discussions and do follow-ups with the team
• Develop appealing contents for the social media campaigns by referring the impacts stories
• Study the organizational report and prepare presentation on key-milestones of the Caritas India

Educational Qualification: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
