The 101^st Governing Board of Caritas India was held on November 3^rd and 4^th, 2021 in New Delhi. After a long hiatus of 2 years, Caritas India had a much-awaited physical meeting with her Board Members. This was also an occasion to commemorate as the meeting was graced with the honourable presence of His Eminence Oswald Cardinal Gracias, President of Catholic Bishop’s Conference of India.

During the one and half day meet, Caritas India presented an overview of the COVID 2^nd wave response humanitarian aid and key highlights of the Half Yearly Development intervention under our Key thematic Sectors. His Eminence appreciated the Caritas India team and the efforts of the church network towards making a meaningful intervention during Covid. He expressed his desire for developing a Coffee Table Book on Covid and the Church, which he would like to present to the Pontiff during his visit to India.

Caritas India also shared the new operational arrangements under the changing environment post covid and FCRA amendment. Towards the end of the meeting, His Eminence released a few knowledge products and appreciated the team for challenging themselves amidst the troubled waters.
