Workshop on Project Formulation

This time we are planning for an offline Workshop on PROJECT FORMULATION. This training will deliberate on how to develop concept notes, Project Cycle Management (PCM), Result Based Management (RBM) Problem Tree Analysis, Situation Analysis, Logical Framework Analysis (LFA), and Monitoring and Evaluation aspects of project formulation.  There will be input sessions supplemented by group work, case stories, activities, videos etc. in this intensive residential workshop. Caritas India under the Caritas India Development Learning and Action (CIDAL) has planned many Modules and Project Formulation is one such module. The training will be for 3 days starting from 27th to 29th September 2022.

Course Highlights:

  1. A certificate will be provided to each participant after the workshop
  2. The workshop will be participatory in nature
  3. Resources materials for reading and template for exercises will be provided

Why should you apply for the course?

This workshop will give the trainees the knowledge and skills such as Project Cycle Management Result Based Management (RBM) Problem Tree Analysis, Situation Analysis, Logical Framework Analysis (LFA), Monitoring and Evaluation which are required for result-based projects.  Sharing of various cases of good practices and exercises help the trainees to acquire skills for leading/initiating the processes. The workshop will be facilitated by well-experienced Resource Person/s, sharing Resource materials and sessions through input, videos, and group work/ exercises.

This course should be attended by those heading the Organization or in program managers/officers.

How will your training work?

The Course will be through lecture, break out group work, ppt presentation, discussion, plenary etc. good practice sharing with a short break after every session of 1 to 1 and half hours.

Trainer’s profile

Mr. BIJOY, the main facilitator of this worshop has 15 years of experience  in the development sector, currently being associated with Quest Alliance, Bangalore as Impact Manager – Schools Program which is being implemented in 13 states of India. He is responsible for the Capacity building of teams to make meaning of data and support them to make the course corrections, to ensure Program teams have appropriate monitoring and reporting indicators and tools in place, Monitor all program activities and progress towards achieving the program outputs and outcomes, Conduct regular visits to program sites to carry out process monitoring, Provide training on monitoring, data collection and reporting, Coordinate all aspects of project monitoring and ensuring data is of high quality and produced on time, Spearhead Evaluations, Sharing and Learning Internally etc. 6 years’ association with Indo- Global Social Service Society (IGSSS), New Delhi in the capacity of Asst. Manager Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation wherein he had to overlook the Data management and analysis, monitoring and evaluation of partner organisations. He has conducted 14 evaluation studies for Stichting Kinderpsotzegels (SKN) (Netherlands) and Misereor (Germany) across India.   The role was to coordinate/conduct/Monitor capacity building programs for the government officials across South India and Support to North East during both the Census 2011
