Workshop on Climate Resilient Practices and Approaches

Caritas India is organising a workshop on CLIMATE RESILIENT PRACTICES AND APPROACHES on January 11-14, 2022 in MUNNAR, KERALA. This workshop will deliberate the issues pertaining to climate change and global warming, practices and approached to mitigate the effect of climate change and chart out a new map for its way forward to follow green initiatives. We feel it is highly relevant in the context of increased incidences of natural disasters, degradations which is disturbing the livelihoods of many people every year. The workshop will be organised in  Munnar Integral Development Society MIDS, Munnar (the regional centre of Vijayapuram Social Service Society (VSSS). It is located in Munnar Town. Caritas India will provide Board/Lodge, resource materials,  and the expense of Exposure visit in Munnar. Please find attached the format of the registration fee and the fee transfer details.

The medium of the workshop is ENGLISH

This workshop will include sessions on the impact of climate change in the livelihoods of the community, reasons for ozone layer depletion, climate resilient measures such as natural farming, soil and water conservation, renewable energy sources, practical demonstrations on the preparation of growth promoters, pest repellents and organic manures, field exposure etc.

The registration fee of Rs. 5,000 in favour of Caritas India, New Delhi to be sent to the Director, Caritas India or transfer the registration fee in Caritas India account which is mentioned in the registration form (Ref. Registration Fee for the training on “Climate Resilient Practices and Approaches” in MUNNAR).
