A team from the TSSS started imparting self-employment generation training program in “umbrella-making” with enough raw materials and resources. The TSSS Director Fr. Benny Nirappel has successfully imparted this training by maintaining the stipulated social distancing criteria. Fr. To motivate and encourage this initiative, esteemed entrepreneurs from the city have come forward to support this mission and promised that they can ensure steady business orders to these trained mendicants if it is possible for them to ensure supply on time. This was a great achievement of this training and the mendicants.

The Director of TSSS Fr. Benny Nirappel assured the skilled trainees that TSSS can pre-purchase the raw material from them under a book-debt scheme which they can repay after their market realization of manufactured umbrellas.
