Caritas Dialoguing for better approach to strengthen the European Return ReIntegration Network programme

Returning home after a long decade in abroad is not an easy process as one need time to adjust as well adapt with the new system and changed environment. Caritas India had four days dialogue in Dubai from November 27-30, 2018 with the European Partner Institute and ERRIN Project Management Unit.

The meeting focuses on Asia region receiving countries (Pakistan, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Sri Lanka, and Iraq) and an operational focus, with an emphasis on knowledge sharing and local partner delivery procedures.

Fr. Paul emphasized that the mental stability of a person contributes towards his/her wellbeing and attending this need will result in constructive reintegration. The meeting has also depth discussion on the need for Pre-Departure counseling, case Management, Administrative and Finance, and Reintegration plan.

More harmonise approach and Flexibility in the reintegration procedure were stressed through the dialogue. Caritas present her major areas of expertise in the reintegration programme-  Pre-Departure contact, Meet & Greet, Business Consultancy Support, Counselling, Vocational training, Capacity building of local partner and Peer groups exchange learning and Medical Assistance.
