Pravasi Bandhu, a Caritas India initiative, aims to enhance the well-being of migrant workers by promoting safe migration practices at both source and destination locations.

Guided by the 3Ps framework—Prevention of exploitation, Protection of dignity, and Promotion of well-being—the program employs strategies such as capacity building, livelihood programs, social integration, rights advocacy, and policy development. Focusing on safe living and working conditions, it addresses the needs of vulnerable communities and supports rebuilding migrant workers’ lives through safe migration assistance. Implemented across seven states through nine partners, Pravasi Bandhu targets 22,470 Population over three years. Collaborating with national and state governments, the program ensures the dignity and rights of migrant workers, complementing governmental efforts in this critical area.
