Khushaal Bachpan, implemented by Caritas India, is an integrated program dedicated to ensuring a Happy Childhood (Khushaal Bachpan) by strengthening families and engaging various stakeholders impacting children’s lives. It revolves around children as key stakeholders, fostering exhaustive engagement with parents, communities, and stakeholders like education and health sectors. The program’s goal is to ensure a Safe, Happy, and Dignified Childhood by creating an enabling environment that promotes easy access to children’s rights. Khushaal Bachpan complements government initiatives by ensuring child safety through micro-level interventions, promoting community-based child safeguarding at the meso-level, and supporting effective child protection laws and policies at the macro level.
