Cancer Care

The Cancer Care Campaign by Caritas India supports cancer patients in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Goa, promoting preventive health approaches and complementing government initiatives. Launched in Ernakulam, Kerala, the campaign has expanded, raising cancer awareness and support across states. Our aim is to improve the quality of life for cancer patients and their families through emotional, social, and practical support. We ensure that every cancer patient has access to necessary resources and guidance. Our strategy includes volunteer mobilization, professional counseling, patient navigation, and community outreach. Targeting cancer patients, their families, and caregivers, particularly in underserved areas, we focus on patient screening, referral, treatment assistance, nutrition support, and skill training for economic empowerment. We collaborate with government bodies, local authorities, and stakeholders to integrate cancer care into village development plans.
