Fr. Paul Moonjely honoured with Cyril Mar Basalious Award

Fr. Paul Moonjely, the Executive Director for Caritas India has received Cyril Mar Basalious award for the year 2019.  Shreyas has installed Cyril Mar Baselious award every year as a remembrance to the pioneering effort of the first bishop of Bathery diocese Cyril Mar Basalious Catholicos award for his contributions in the field of Social Reconstruction.

Fr Paul was honoured with this award in recognition of Caritas India’s selfless service during recent Kerala flood.

He has been involved in the social sector for the last 21 years and being in Caritas India for the past six years. He was also recognized as a person who accomplishes every task undertaken by him with utmost precision and efficiency.

The award was announced by Bishop Joseph Mar Thomas, Metropolitan of Bathery diocese on 29th March 2019 in the launching ceremony of Shreyas Ruby Jubilee. The award was presented by Moran Mor Cardinal Basalious Mar Cleemis on 10th April 2019
