Save Water, Save Life

The CBSE directive to its affiliate schools has come in the wake of a recent Niti Aayog Report about the looming water crisis in India. According to the report, 21 cities in India including Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai, and Hyderabad will run out of groundwater.

By 2020, 21 major cities of India, will run out of water. Our country, India, is currently suffering from the worst water crisis in its history, Niti Aayog report says. So, it’s a Responsibility of students, to save our loving country, India. Caritas India, a member of Caritas Confederation and the Second Largest Humanitarian Network in the World along with the National Office of Catholic Bishops’ Conference of India (CBCI), largest education provider in the world and the Second Largest Education provider in India has launched India’s Biggest National Level Environmental Awareness Campaign, SAVE WATER – SAVE LIFE.

It is India’s Biggest School Level Essay/Drawing Competition covering 14 Regions, 29 States & 7 Union Territories, 25000 Schools, 25 Million Students, and 50 Million Parents. The campaign was launched by the Hon’ble Minister of Human Resource Development, formerly Ministry of Education, Shri Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ at Teen Murti Lane, New Delhi with Mr. Gaurav Arora, Youth President, BJP, Shastri Nagar, New Delhi, Ms. Annu Arora, Vice President, Mahila Morcha, BJP, Shastri Nagar, New Delhi.
