Walkathon for Protection of Child Rights

Youth from Swaraksha Programme wore white T-Shirts with Stop Human Trafficking slogans during a walkathon organised by Ehsaas: Friends of Street Children on December 24, 2017. The event was organised to create awareness on and sensitize society towards protection of Children.

The four kilometre walkathon was flagged off by DGP, Sulkhan Singh from Babu Banarsi Das Badminton Academy. The walkathon was joined by Railway Police Force, GRP, NCC cadets, NSS team, Child line team, other NGOs, Govt. officials & school children.

Swaraksha Anti Human Trafficking Program took the opportunity to share about the objective of the Program which is working at cross border –Nepal to combat Human Trafficking.”

A signature campaign was organised aimed to collected signatures to indicate that we as an Indian citizen are against Human Trafficking & we join hands in hands to combat Human Trafficking.

Everyone supported the campaign and signed with quotes on their views on Human Trafficking. They appreciated the initiative of Caritas India to combat Human Trafficking.  Prabhat Tara, Swaraksha Program team coordinated this entire campaign.
