The Smallholder Adaptive Farming & Biodiversity Network (SAFBIN-III) Interim Phase, launched in February 2024 in Madhya Pradesh.

Led by Caritas India with regional partners from Bangladesh and Nepal, SAFBIN empowers smallholder farmers to combat climate change and food insecurity through adaptive, community-led research. Within two months, micro-level interventions, capacity-building sessions, and awareness programs engaged key stakeholders like PRI members, officials, and departments to scale climate-resilient farming. The initiative strengthens SHFC Groups for long-term sustainability and improved collaboration with agriculture and horticulture systems.
