Civil Society Learning
Through regular national and international exchange programmes the knowledge, resources, best practices, and learnings between civil societies and government agencies are developed and shared to strengthen the coordination for enhanced networking and dialogue. The knowledge products on active participation of citizens, empowerment animation, dialogue, nutrition, disaster risk reduction, and inclusion to address issues of the most vulnerable communities are developed through joint research and studies. Systematic approaches are planned for sharing knowledge and experiences of stakeholders at national and international levels. All initiatives complement the disaster risk reduction, food and nutrition security and social inclusion components in contributing towards an intensified mutual learning between civil society organizations and decision makers.
What we’re doing
National and International Stakeholder Exchange Programmes
Stakeholder exchange programmes are planned with stakeholders (WHH, UNICEF, etc.) at national and international levels for sharing of expertise, resources and to implement joint initiatives.
Cross Learning and Exposure Visits on Innovative Models and Best Practices
Periodic exposure visits are planned for programme teams, partners and identified target groups to benefit through a cross learning experience from other stakeholder initiatives on innovative models and best practices.
Joint Research and Studies on Gaps, issues, and challenges
Based on the gaps, issues and challenges identified through the programme, joint research and related studies are planned with likeminded stakeholders to document and identify solutions for strengthening civil society learnings.
Strengthening Networks At Different Administrative Levels
Thematic networks related to disaster risk reduction, food and nutrition security and social inclusion are created and strengthened for improving the coordination between civil societies and government agencies at micro, meso and macro levels.
